Birchmount Baseball League Partners with Variety Village &
Challenger Baseball Canada to provide accessible baseball

Birchmount Baseball League is thrilled to announce that the Jays Care Foundation has chosen Highview Park to build a brand new, fully accessible, all-turf baseball diamond. The foundation will provide $1,000,000 in funding to build the diamond in the northwest corner of the park, as well as make improvements to the playground and clubhouse, and install a home run fence on the main diamond. Construction will begin this summer.

Birchmount will be partnering with Challenger Baseball Canada and Variety Village to provide accessible baseball for youth with special needs throughout the city. This will be the first diamond of its kind in Toronto and only the third in all of Canada. It will also be available to our tee-ball teams.

We are very excited about this news! Thank you BBL President Peter Kujansuu for all of your work behind the scenes to make this happen.
